It's that time of the year again for the Zaman University Annual Student Conference! This year marks the 4th year since its inception, and once again we have students from Cambodia and the region coming together to present the fruits of their research!

You are invited to join a public lecture presented by Mr. Sodeth Ly, Senior Economist of the World Bank Group on the recent update on Cambodian Economoy. As Senior Economist, Sodeth Ly is responsible for conducting macroeconomic analysis. Mr. Ly is also working on the reforms of public finances in Cambodia. Prior to joining the Bank in 2009, he worked as Economist for the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the office of IMF Resident Representative in Cambodia for five years.

CE Alumni sharing experiences with engineering students

Digital Z Day is a platform to connect key investors with aspirational young entrepreneurs and students to discuss innovation across key growth sectors in Cambodia’s tech driven community, including: Big Data, Cleantech, Digital Media, Fintech, Healthcare, Software, and Telecommunication.

Zaman Universitie's Centre for Executive, Professional, and Community Education would like to welcome two American filmmakers to speak with our students, as well as public attendes about thier film "Code: Debugging the Gender Gap." Robin Hauser and Heather Courtney have been invited by The U.S. Embassy Phnom Penh, as part of thier American Film Showcase, to share their work and experiences with Cambodians this May.

Zaman Youth Club has the honor to host Mr Sila Chy, CEO of Sabay, to share his experiences to our fellow students about the struggle and success of owning multiple companies in Cambodia. This event is free and all ZamanU students are invited to join to discuss and learn from him during this one-hour NowTalks series. 

In collaboration with ACCA Cambodia, Zaman University is very pleased to host our annual Employer-Student Roundtable: "Employability Gap". During this two-hour event, students have to the chance to discuss with employers directly about the expectation in the work place.

Speaker bio: Dr. Benny Widyono is a former senior United Nations diplomat from Indonesia who served in two capacities in Cambodia: 1. During the UNTAC period as an UNTAC “governor” in the province of Siemreap from 1992-1993 and 2. As the Political Representative of the United Nations Secretary General to the New Royal Government of Cambodia, 1994-97. His talk will be based on his book entitled: Dancing in Shadows: Sihanouk, The Khmer Rouge and the United Nations in Cambodia which has been translated into Khmer by CKS. After the talk, a book signing will take place.  

This seminar is designed as a support for the instructors of Zaman School of Foreign Languages and intends to improve the quality of language education. Current seminar, which is the first in a series of lectures on TEFL, will deal with the common issues of classroom management.The seminar is also open to Zaman School teachers.
